(You really can't see it, but the moon is out.) (I came across a number of these little guys. Truth be told, it really could have been the same one every time... I got lost and went in circles a lot.)
After I saw your wooly catapillar photo, I came across one walking Bailey last weekend. He was braving the long arduous walk across the baron cement path. After a few seconds though, I had to go back and pick him up and put him in the tree he was heading for...I felt better.
I always question actions like that. I once moved a grasshopper away from the curb. It was in a perfect spot to get crunched by a car. Less than ten seconds after I relocated the grasshopper, a bird swooped down and ate it.
