(Before settlement in the mid-1700's, Windsor was inhabited by aboriginal peoples. This is an image of an inukshuk, part of Canada's aboriginal culture.)
(This family is praying for peace.)

(These men were working on this old train. The waterfront used to be a marshaling yard. After years of reclaiming pieces of it and numerous beautification projects, it has been transformed into something quite enjoyable.)
(I believe these are also remnants of the marshaling yard. Once used to move freight from train to ship and so on.)

(These seagulls were next to fearless. They felt very domesticated as they preened their oily feathers on the shit covered railing.)
(When I was younger, there were ten or fifteen of these posts out in the water. They were used to tie off your boat.)
(Detroit!)

(I played with these when I was little, feet on the steps, watching people in the USA walk around doing whatever it is they do. For the stake of nostalgia, I put in a quarter and watched.)
(Not only can this river be swift, but large freighters are always passing through. At certain points there are undertoes.)

(The Honourable Herb Gray, with his glasses broken.)

(When I was younger and the river was dirty, my grandfather and I would go to the harbour, walk out on the peer, and fish for pickerel. Now, with the river dirty, borderline disgusting, it was nice to see people fishing. Nostalgia made it nice. Seeing old men fish for food made it sad.)
